Hi there!

It’s me, Paul.

I’m a freelance printer, sign written, illustrator and doodle maker currently based in Manchester.

Though I went through the educational tubes, I have mostly achieved my skills later on in life by simply sitting down and doing it. This sort of trial and error approach to arts makes the process feel like if I am playing and I think that is the essence of creativity.

Relief printing and gouache are my favourite tools at the moment.

I always thought I hated gouache. One day I woke up with the need for some solid colours in my arts and the solution seemed to be clear. I really enjoy it in combination with Chinese ink. It looks so vibrant!

I started with lino cuts about two years ago playing around with a toy set I got gifted.

My first try was a bowl of ramen. Priorities.

For me, lino combines a lot of creative aspects: it has a bit of painting, sculpting, it is very manual… I got very much into it and haven’t stopped since.

Here you can see one of the first proper things I made on lino.

That’s pretty much it! I hope you enjoy having a look at my work. If you like anything, you are thinking about a cool customised piece or you have any questions, don’t hesitate on contacting me.

Talk to you soon.
